Read this manual carefully before operation your new NERAUS trolling motor. Retain for future reference.

在操作新的尼乐斯牌船用电动挂浆机前请仔细阅读本手册，并妥善保存以便将来参考。

2.Setting explain

1.      Mount the motor: 安装挂浆机（见图1）

Install the motor on the transom of the boat. Be sure to tighten the clamp screws securely.

把电动挂浆机安装在船艉的构件止，并多功能安装支架上的螺杆可靠拧紧。

2.      Depth adjustment: 电动挂浆机的高度调节（见图1）

Firmly grasp the steel shaft and hold it steady,loosen the steering tension knob and depth collar knob until the shaft slides freely.Raise or lower the motor to the desired depth,tighten depth collar knob to secure the motor in place.

稳固地抓紧方向旋转轴，松开张力控制钮和深度调节扣使方向旋转轴能自由滑动。提升或降低电动挂浆机的高度，使其到合适的高度并拧紧深度调节扣。

Note:When setting the depth be sure the top of the motor is submerged at least 12” to avoid churning or agitation of surface water. The propeller must be completely submerged.

注意：当调节电动挂浆机的高度时，应该保证电动挂浆机的顶部至少浸入水中至少30厘米，同时保证螺旋浆完全浸入水中以避免表层水产生旋涡或强烈搅动。

 

 

 

CAUTION: Never operate your motor when it is out of the water!

警告：请不要将电动挂浆机离水运转！

1.      Steering adjustment:电动挂浆机高度位置的调节（见图1）

Adjust the steering tension knob to provide enough tension to allow the motor to turn freely, yet remain in any position without being held or;

将多功能安装支架上方的张紧扣调节至合适的张力，以使电动挂浆机能轻松地操作转动。

Tighten the knob and lock the motor in a preset position to leave your hands free for fishing.

扣住手舵上的卡扣并锁紧螺栓，以使电动挂浆机保持在你调节好的高度位置，这样你的手可以空闲出来去钓鱼了。

2.      Bracket adjustment: 多功能安装支架（见图1）

You can lock your motor in a vertical position,angle it for shallow water or tilt it completely out of the water.Firmly grasp the control head or steel shaft.

你可以在多功能安装支架上调节电动挂浆机的高度以便适应不同的水深，还可以按住快速翘起离水锁扣和钢制方向旋转轴使电动挂浆机翘起并完全离水。

WARNING:When raising/lowering motor or operating the tilt mechanism,keep fingers clear of all hinge and pivot points and all moving parts.

注意：在操作电动机挂浆机上升/下降或翘起并完全离水时，一定要保持所有活动关节和支点的整洁。

3.      TWIST TILLER 扭转操作的手舵（见图2）

These motors offer a choice of five forward and three reverse speeds. The speed control may be operated in either direction, forward or reverse. Turn the tilt twist tiller handle counterclockwise from O(off) to increase reverse speed and clockwise from O(off) to increase forward speed. Thrust decreases as you approach O from either direction. The numbers printed on the twist grip handle represent a percentage of maximum thrust.

电动机挂浆机提供五档前进和三档后退档位。速度控制可以实现不是前进就是后退的操作。手舵从0位（断开）逆时针方向作扭转操作则增加后退速度；手舵从0位（断开）顺时针方向作扭转操作则增加前进速度；当你从任一方向接近0位则推力将减少。手舵上标定的数字提示为不同的推力。

6.  10 LED Lighted power Indicator   10 段 光标电源容量指示器（见图3）

10 LED lighted power indicator are consist of three red LED and seven green LED,then the battery with 12 volt or more all LED lighted will shine; then the battery equate 9.5 volt only the first red LED lighted shine; then the battery less than 9.5 volt the all LED lighted will be off.That is each LED means the battery lossed 0.25 volt. Stopped use the trolling motor and recharging the battery when only red LED shine,if use it unceasingly the battery will beyond retrieve.

10 段 光标电源容量指示器由三只红色高亮度发光二极管和七只绿色高亮度发光二极管组成。当蓄电池电压大于或等于12V时，十只发光二极管全亮；当蓄电池电压等于9.5V时，只有最下面的一只红色发光二极管亮；而当蓄电池电压低于9.5V时，所有的发光二极管都不亮；每下降一段意味着电压下降0.25V。在只有红色发光二极管点亮时，请及时充电，不要再使用下去。如果继续使用会对蓄电池造成不可逆转的永久性损坏。

6.BATTERY INFORMATION:蓄电池说明

These motors will operate with any 12 volt battery. For best results, use a battery with at least a 105 ampere hour rating. As a general on the water estimate, your 12 volt motor will draw one ampere per hour for each pound of thrust produced when the motor is running on high. The actual ampere draw is subject to your particular environmental conditions and operation requirements.Proper care will ensure having battery power when you need it, and will significantly improve the batter life. Failure to recharge lead-acid batteries (within 12-24 hours) is the leading cause of premature battery failure. For best results,use a variable rate charger to avoid overcharging.

电动机挂浆机采用12V蓄电池为动力源，建议使用容量为105安培/小时的蓄电池。一般情况下，电动机挂浆机在水中高速工作时，能耗为1磅推力/安培小时，当然实际情况会与你的使用方式和环境有关。适当地维护蓄电池将有助于你得到充足的电能，同时也能延长蓄电池的寿命。不适当地对酸-铅蓄电池充电将导致蓄电池损坏，最好是采用脉冲电流的充电器，以防止蓄电池的过充电。

7.BATTERY CONNECTION:蓄电池的连接（见图4）

12 Volt System

a. Connect the positive(+) red lead to the positive(+) battery terminal.

b. Connect the negative (-) black lead to the negative(-) battery terminal.

把红色电线（正极）连接到蓄电池正极端子

把黑色电线（负极）连接到蓄电池负极端子

Terminal voltage output: 12V 用于12V输出

Red cable (+ve) from outboard 舷外机上的红线

8. WARNING:警告

.BEFORE CONNECTINGBATTERY, MAKE SURE THE TWIST TILLER HANDLE IS IN THE OFF POSTION.

. USE 6 GAUGE WIRE TO EXTEND POWER LEAD.

.KEEP LEADWIRE CONNECTION TIGHT AND SOLID TOBATTERYTERMINALS.

.LOCATEBATTERYIN A VENTIATED COMPARTMENT.

在连接蓄电池电线时，一定要注意手舵是处于0（断开）位；

如果使用延长线，则应选用6号电线；

确认连接电线与蓄电池端子的连接是紧密、牢固的；

蓄电池应放置在通风的隔舱里。

 

9.PROPELLER REPLACEMENT:螺旋浆的替换（见图5）

. Hold the propeller and loosen the prop nut with a pliers or a wrench.

. Remove prop nut and washer. If the drive pin is sheared/broken, you will need to hold the slot on the end of the shaft.

. Turn the old prop to horizontal( as illustrated ) and pull it straight off, If drive pin falls out, push it back in.

. Align new propeller with drive pin.

. Install prop washer and prop nut.

. Tighten prop nut 1/4 turn past snug. (25—35 inch lbs.) Be careful, over tightening can damage prop.

握住电动挂浆机用老虎钳或扳手松开紧固螺母；

取下螺母及垫片（如果键销已经断裂或损坏），你可以用一种螺丝销压入轴端的键孔内以达到卡住固定轴；

转动原来的螺旋浆到水平位置，将其从电机上折下，（如果键销掉下来，则应该再将其放入原来的位置）；

新的螺旋浆装入键销并装好螺母及垫片；

拧紧螺旋浆上的螺母并在此基础上再拧过1/4圈（约产生25~35磅/英寸的力矩）

10.MAINTENANCE: 维护保养

1.        This series of motors is not equipped for salt water exposure.

2.        The propeller must be cleaned of weeds and fishing line. Line can get behind the prop, wear away the seals and allow water to enter the motor. Disconnect battery and check this after every 20 hours of operation.

3.        To prevent accidental damage during trailering or storage, disconnect the battery whenever the motor is off of the water. For prolonged storage, lightly coat all metal parts with silicone spray.

4.        For maximum performance,restore batteryto full charge before each use.

5.        If this edge of propeller is rough or nicked, restore to smooth by sanding with fine sandpaper

1、这种系列的电动挂浆机将不合适使用于海水环境下的用户；

2、应清理螺旋浆上的水草和钓鱼线，附在螺旋浆后的这种废物将会损害电机的密封性，而导致电机进水，每使用20小时应该清理一次。

3、为了防止在运输和贮藏过程中发生意外损伤，无论何时应断开电池并使电动挂浆机离开水。如果长期存放，所有金属件上应涂上防腐油脂。

4、为了达到最好的使用效果，在每次每次使用电动挂浆机前应对蓄电池充满电。

5、如果发现螺旋浆的边缘变粗糙或有缺口，可使用质地良好的砂纸打磨一下，使其恢复圆滑的。

 

11. CAUTION:

DISCONNECT THE MOTOR FROM THEBATTERYBEFORE BEGINNING ANYPROP WORK OR MAINTENANCE.

注意：电动挂浆机在保养或工作前电机必须与蓄电池断开连接~！

12.TROUBLESHOOTING:故障与维护

1.Motor fails to run or lacks power:     电机不转或没电

. Check battery connections for proper polarity.  检查蓄电池极性是否连接正确；

. Make sure terminals are clean and corrosion free. Use fine sandpaper or emery cloth to clean both terminals.

确认接线端子清洁并且没有锈蚀，使用质地良好的砂纸或金刚砂布清理蓄电池的二个端子；

. Check battery ware level. Add water if needed.  检查蓄电池的液面，必要时加入适量的电解液；

. Check propeller for line or weeds.    检查螺旋浆后面有否杂物或水草缠绕；

2.Motor loses power after a short running time:     电机短时间运转后断电；

. Check battery charge, if low, restore to full charge.   检查蓄电池充电容量，如果不足请充满后再用；

3.Motor is hard to steer.  电动挂浆机难以操作

. Loosen the steering tension knob on the bracket.   松开并调节多功能安装支架上方的张紧扣调节至合适的张力

. Lubricate the steel shafl. 钢制方向旋转轴加点润滑油
