Solar dryer AMS-40D9 is designed for drying vegetables, fruits, mushrooms, meat, fish, herbs, kurut and other products.

The dryer consists of an air collector where the air is heated, a drying chamber where the trays are located on which the products are dried, a photovoltaic panel that powers the fan, and a backup heating panel. The dryer operates by blowing heated air onto the products prepared for drying.

The main power supply mode of the solar dryer is solar radiation - that is, in sunny warm weather (air temperature above +20 +25℃), the dryer is placed so that direct sunlight falls on the photovoltaic panel and air collector, and drying of products is carried out without the need for additional energy. When solar radiation hits the photovoltaic panel, it generates electricity to operate the fan, by means of which forced ventilation of heated air in the drying chamber is carried out, which helps remove moisture from the product.

In the absence of solar radiation (in cloudy weather, at night), air heating and fan power can be provided from the backup heating panel by connecting it to the 220V network.
